Dear friends,
I'm glad to start again my winter portfolio sales. I'm also proud to tell you, that the chosen pictures are all from different ongoing projects and have been shot this year. By purchasing one or more of these prints you help me directely to continue working on these and other projects. I hope you enjoy my selection.

From left to right : Zece Prajini, Romania 2019.
Eszter, Hungary 2019.
Urban space, 2019.
The first series is about the Romanian musicians from Zece Prajini, which community I know now for seven years. Recently, I've started to follow some of them to other European countries, where they have chosen to live and to work. I was able to do a first travel to London in automn 2019.
The second project is a personal investigation about an incident which happened in Hungary in the 19th century. In 1882, a young girl called Eszter Solymosi disappeared from her village Tiszaeszlar. Immediately the jewish community of the town was accused for ritual murder. While the news were spread worldwide, this incident continues having an impact today. Antisemitism is showing up again and certain Hungarians still don't believe in the innocence of the jewish community in this case.
Finally, the third picture belongs to a recently started project about the way we manage and use public urban space. Some of the pictures may also tell us, how nature continues fighting in a world where it looses more and more space.
With warm regards,
Patrick Galbats.
